Job Overview:
As a Construction Coordinator at Prodigal Building Systems, you will play a vital role in
supporting the efficient execution of construction projects. You will assist in coordinating various
aspects of construction operations, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and to
the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
● Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating construction projects from initiation to
completion, working closely with project managers, superintendents, and other team
members.
● Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, plans,
permits, and other project-related documents. Organize and track project files.
● Communication: Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including
clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members. Provide timely updates
on project progress.
● Budget Tracking: Assist in monitoring project budgets and costs by tracking expenses,
materials, and labor. Report discrepancies or budget concerns to the Construction
Manager.
● Scheduling: Help develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring tasks are
completed on time and within project timelines.
● Procurement: Coordinate the procurement of construction materials and equipment,
ensuring they are available when needed and within budget.
● Quality Control: Support quality control efforts by participating in inspections,
documenting issues, and assisting in the resolution of construction-related challenges.
● Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce adherence to safety protocols and
regulations on construction sites. Participate in safety meetings and maintain a safe
work environment.
● Problem Solving: Collaborate with project teams to identify and address construction
challenges and issues that may arise during projects.
Qualifications:
● Previous experience in construction coordination or a related role is preferred.
● Knowledge of construction processes, tools, and materials.
● Strong organizational and documentation skills.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Basic understanding of construction budgeting and scheduling.
● Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
● Commitment to workplace safety and familiarity with safety regulations.
● High school diploma or equivalent.
