Job Overview:

As a Construction Manager at Prodigal Building Systems, you will play a central role in our
construction projects. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the
construction process, from project initiation to completion, ensuring projects are completed
safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

● Project Management: Plan, execute, and manage all phases of construction projects,
including pre-construction planning, budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
● Team Leadership: Lead and motivate construction teams, including superintendents,
carpenters, subcontractors, and other trade professionals. Provide clear instructions,
guidance, and mentorship.
● Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders,
and project owners. Maintain regular communication, provide updates on project
progress, and address any concerns or inquiries promptly.
● Budget and Cost Management: Develop and manage project budgets, control costs,
and monitor expenses by tracking materials, labor, and subcontractor costs. Make
adjustments as needed to stay within budget.
● Quality Assurance: Oversee and inspect all construction work to ensure it meets
Prodigal Building Systems' quality standards and client expectations. Take corrective
action when necessary.
● Schedule Adherence: Ensure that construction projects adhere to established
schedules and milestones. Proactively identify and address any delays or issues that
may impact the timeline.
● Safety Leadership: Promote and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, including
OSHA-10 standards, and regulations on the construction site. Conduct regular safety
meetings and maintain a safe work environment for all personnel.
● Problem Solving: Proactively identify and address construction challenges and issues
that may arise during projects, making informed decisions to keep the project on track.

● Risk Management: Identify potential risks to the project and develop strategies to
mitigate them. Monitor and manage project risks throughout the construction process.
Qualifications:
● Proven experience as a Construction Manager or a similar leadership role in residential
and commercial construction.
● Strong knowledge of construction techniques, tools, and materials.
● Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully
leading construction teams to success.
● Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and plans accurately and perform
construction take-offs.
● Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions independently.
● Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.
● Commitment to workplace safety and thorough knowledge of safety regulations.
● Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field preferred.
● Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
