Job Overview:

As the Chief Operations Officer (COO) at Prodigal, you will be a key member of the executive
leadership team, responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s operations. You will
play a pivotal role in driving growth, operational efficiency, and overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

● Operational Strategy: Develop and implement operational strategies, plans, and
initiatives that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
● Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, including
superintendents, project managers, construction coordinators, and other department
heads. Foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and innovation.
● Project Management: Oversee project execution, including project planning,
scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and risk management. Ensure projects are
completed safely, on time, and within budget.
● Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains,
and cost reduction. Implement best practices and streamline operational workflows.
● Financial Management: Collaborate with the finance team to manage and optimize
financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and financial forecasting.
Ensure profitability and financial sustainability.
● Client Relations: Cultivate strong client relationships and ensure exceptional client
satisfaction. Address client concerns and collaborate on strategic initiatives.
● Quality Assurance: Maintain and enforce quality standards and ensure that all
construction work meets the company's high-quality standards and client expectations.
● Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.
● Vendor and Supplier Management: Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and
subcontractors. Negotiate contracts and terms to support project needs.
● Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement technology solutions that enhance
operational efficiency, project management, and data analytics.

● Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of the company's long-term strategic
plans and objectives. Provide input on growth initiatives and expansion opportunities.

Qualifications:

● Proven experience as a COO or a similar executive leadership role in the construction
industry.
● Bachelor's degree in construction management, business administration, or a related
field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
● Strong knowledge of construction operations, project management, and industry best
practices.
● Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully
leading large teams to success.
● Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions independently.
● Financial acumen and budget management experience.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Commitment to workplace safety and knowledge of safety regulations.
