Job Overview:

As a Foreman at Prodigal Building Systems, you will play a crucial role in our construction
projects, overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of construction crews. You will be
responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest
standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

● Leadership and Supervision: Lead and supervise construction crews, including
carpenters, laborers, and subcontractors, providing clear instructions and guidance to
ensure the successful execution of project tasks.
● Project Coordination: Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, the
Construction Manager and Superintendent, and other trade professionals to coordinate
tasks, schedules, and resources, ensuring the smooth progression of projects.
● Safety Oversight: Enforce and promote strict adherence to safety protocols and
regulations, conducting regular safety meetings, and maintaining a safe work
environment for all team members.
● Quality Control: Oversee and inspect work to ensure it meets Prodigal Building
Systems’ quality standards and client expectations.
● Problem Solving: Proactively identify and address construction challenges and issues
that may arise during projects, making decisions that contribute to successful outcomes.
● Materials and Equipment: Manage the procurement and efficient use of construction
materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring they are readily available and properly
maintained.
● Progress Reporting: Keep accurate records of daily work activities, production levels,
and any issues or deviations from the project plan. Provide regular progress reports to
project managers.
● Team Development: Mentor and train crew members, helping them develop their skills
and meet performance expectations.

Qualifications:

● Proven experience as a Foreman or a similar supervisory role in residential and
commercial construction.
● Strong knowledge of construction techniques, tools, and materials.
● Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire
a construction crew.
● Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and plans accurately.
● Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently.
● Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.
● Commitment to workplace safety and thorough knowledge of safety regulations.
● High school diploma or equivalent.
Benefits:
● $38-$46 per hour, depending on experience
